Oil milling is an age-old activity which has gone through many phases of development. Mini oil  mill is a concept meant to cater to the local market unlike large oil mills with huge capacities and catering to regional markets with established brands and different varieties.

Due to very peculiar food habits of the Indians, every household uses edible oil as a cooking medium almost everyday. Vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food preparations need edible oils. Groundnut, cotton seed, rapeseed and mustard are the most popular edible oils in the country but eastern-states prefer mustard oil as cooking medium. Oilseeds production in these states is growing year after year and there is a good scope for oil milling plant.

Features of Mini Oil Mill

• Suitable for extracting oil from Groundnut Kernels, Sesame, Sunflower, Mustard, Rap seed, Caster seed, Cotton Seed, Soya Seed, Corn Germ, Coconut, etc.
• In place of Decorticator, a suitable nut cracker (for Palm nut), Coconut Cutter (for Coconut), etc. is provided.
• Mill is suitable for extraction of Edible / Non-Edible Oil.
• From 100 Kgs. of good quality oil seeds, approximately the following quantity of oil can be extracted: Groundnut Kernels and Sesame - 45 Kgs., Sunflower - 35 Kgs., Mustard and Rap seed - 36 Kgs., Caster seed - 40 Kgs., Cotton Seed - 16 Kgs., Soya Seed - 15 Kgs., Corn Germ - 43 Kgs.
• From 100 Kgs. of Coconut (Dried) 63 Kgs. of Oil can be extracted.
• Available in 4, 8 and 15 Ton Crushing Capacity per 24 hours.
