Oil Milling Plants

The oil milling industry is not only a large but highly developed business, a systematic oil processing method has been applied for the production of oil, which includes oil seed processing, oil extraction, cake processing, oil filtering, oil refining, and solvent extraction of residual oil.

Oil milling is not as simple as we think. Usually care has to be taken while expelling the oil to ensure maximum oil recovery with minimum power consumption. In the entire oil milling plant, cakes should not be damaged, color fixation of oil should not take place, while minimum heat should be generated while expelling; moisture should not find its way with oil, filtration should be in such a manner that no cake particles remain in contact with oil, thus FFA of oil will not increase.
