To produce  soyabean oil, the seeds should be cracked and adjusted for moisture content, heated to between 140°F and 190°F, rolled into flakes, and solvent-extracted with hexane.

• Soya Bean Seeds Preparation: The preparation of soya bean seeds includes seed cleaning, destoning, cracking, husk separation (if required), cooking, flaking, expanding and drying.
• Soya Bean Seeds Extraction:  The prepared expanded soya flakes are sent for solvent extraction. Solvent extraction is carried out in the normal fashion.
